Rice Extract Cream

RICE EXTRACT MOISTURISING CREAM

An extra rich formula consisting of 10% rice bran oil, with shea butter and almond protein, prevents and protects skin from excessive drying and damaging free radicals. This natural nourishing cream is non-greasy and non-comedogenic (will not clog pores).

THE EFFICIENCY OF RICE EXTRACT CREAM ON SKIN MOISTURE

Short Time Hydrating Effect or Single Application Test

1. Twenty-six volunteers are randomly assigned the tested area.

2. None of cosmetic product is used in the tested area. The volunteers are
    housed in the temperature and humidity controlled room of 23 + 2 oC
    and 45 + 5 %RH, respectively, at least 30 minutes before testing.

3. The tested and controlled skin sides are measured for moisture level
    using Corneometer ( Courage-Khazaka, Germany Company )
4. The tested area is applied with 1-3 mg/cm2 rice extract cream and
    then rubbed thoroughly.

5. Skin moisture is evaluated at 1, 2, 4, and 6 hours after application
    for both the tested and controlled areas.

6. The data from the tested and controlled areas are compared and
    statistically analyzed using paired t-test.



Long Time Hydrating Effect or Multiple Application Test

1. The tested area of 26 volunteers is applied with rice extract cream
    twice daily ( morning, evening ) after cleansing for 2 weeks. None of
    any cosmetic product is applied to the controlled area.

2. Skin moisture is measured on week 1 and 2 of application using
    Corneometer ( Courage-Khazaka, Germany Company ).

3. The data from tested and controlled areas are compared and
    statistically analyzed using paired t-test.
